The town needs to draw roughly $315,000 from the general fund balance to close the gap; a resolution formalizing that transfer is expected at the next meeting. Town Board awarded construction management services contract to The Palumbo Group Inc. for $374,540. Project is a new highway garage and salt storage facility on a vacant 5-acre lot on the east side of NYS Route 22, approximately 2,200 ft south of South Amenia Road. Town board exempted itself from zoning regulations to permit construction.
