Arts Organizations

The Wassaic Project

A contemporary arts organization dedicated to supporting emerging artists and engaging communities through residencies, exhibitions, public programs, and arts education. The gallery is housed in the renovated seven-story Maxon Mills grain elevator. More than 100 artists-in-residence pass through each year. Education programs reach thousands of students through summer camps, workshops, and after-school programs with local school districts.

Four Brothers Drive-In Theatre

An all-American drive-in movie experience established in 2013, featuring outdoor movies, mini golf, a playground and arcade, art walk, fire pits, picnic areas, a mastodon exhibit, and camping. Home to The Grand Shack food stand and Hotel Caravana (Airstream lodging). Pet-friendly. Open daily during the 2026 season. Also hosts private events, weddings, fundraisers, and celebrations.
